Sam King
Sam King, SHRM-CP, is more than an HR professional, she is a strategic business partner who helps organizations align their people and business goals. Beginning her career as a special education teacher, Sam built her strengths in adaptability, problem-solving, and communication. These skills define her approach to HR.
She is recognized for her ability to simplify complex challenges and create people-first solutions in compliance, benefits, employee relations, and organizational development. Her work goes beyond checklists and policies; she partners with leaders to design strategies that drive performance, strengthen culture, and position businesses for long-term success.
Born and raised in Maumelle, Arkansas, Sam is proud to bring both local roots and professional expertise to the organizations she supports. SHRM-CP certified and actively involved in CAHRA, she is passionate about doing HR differently — as a trusted partner in building strong businesses and strong teams.
Kobe Torgerson
Kobe is an HR administrative assistant who brings enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to the human resources field. Though relatively new to HR, she quickly adapts and supports the team with dedication and attention to detail. She plays a key role in managing employee terminations and separation notices, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws.

Outside of work, Kobe is completing her degree, is a proud dog mom, and a devoted mother to her energetic two-year-old daughter. She enjoys balancing her growing family life with her career and is grateful to work alongside her mom at Caton Consulting, LLC, where she continues to develop her skills and contribute to helping clients navigate complex HR challenges.
Tangelia Clary-Marshall
Dr. Tangelia Clary-Marshall is an accomplished executive leader and change agent with extensive leadership and human resources experience in both the public and not-for-profit sectors.
As a former Director of Human Resources, Tangelia provides strategic direction for small and large employers. A valued counsel to senior leadership teams, Tangelia has managed and lead company-wide implementations of time and labor systems, employee policy development, and employee benefit portals.
Prior to joining Caton Consulting, Tangelia served as Director of Human Resources for North Little Rock Wastewater, Director of Human Resources for NSM, and Deputy Director for the Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace (AHIM). She currently serves as Director of Engagement for Georgia’s State-based Health Exchange.
Tangelia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Arkansas State University, and a Bachelor in Business Administration and Management from Philander Smith University (formerly Philander Smith College).
